ASCS Warrior and Mid-South Regions Set For Battle This Weekend

Bryan Hulbert – POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (April 25, 2023) Rolling into a two-night showdown this weekend, the ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will take on the ASCS Mid-South Region at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park on Friday, April 28, and Legit Speedway on Saturday, April 29.

Last visited in 2019, Tim Crawley grabbed the Poplar Bluff win over Morgan Turpen and Brad Bowden. Looking back to last year’s regional matchup at Legit Speedway Park, Derek Hagar stood atop the podium, with Landon and Tim Crawley completing the podium.

Friday, April 28, at Poplar Bluff opens at 6:00 P.M. with cars on track at 6:45 P.M. (CDT). Other divisions on the card include A-Mods, B-Mods, ModLites, and Vintage. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for seniors, veterans, and first responders. Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park is located at 1989 Speedway Dr. in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Saturday, April 29, is presented by Holiday Inn Express of West Plains, Mo. Gates open at 5:00 P.M., with Hot Laps at 6:30 P.M. and Racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and Military, $5 for Youth 6-12, and free for kids five and under. Pit Passes are $35. Saturday also includes Super Stocks, Sportsman Late Models, Sport Mods, A-Mods, and Hobby Stocks. Legit Speedway Park is located at 10603 US Hwy. 63 in West Plains, Mo. The 2023 season will mark the 32nd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
